About the certification
Stackable certifications are credentials issued to candidates who have earned multiple ITCERTS certifications. These certifications demonstrate that you’ve acquired multiple ITCERTS credentials and possess the knowledge and skills needed to grow your IT career. When you achieve the combination of certifications that comprise a stackable certification, you will automatically receive the respective stackable certification(s).
The Certified Cybersecurity Specialist certification requires the candidate to successfully pass the following five exams: ITC-074: Information Security Management Foundation (ISO/IEC 27001:2022), ITC-072: Cybersecurity Management Foundation, ITC-103: NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 Foundation, ITC-068: Information Security Controls Foundation (ISO/IEC 27002:2022), and ITC-073: Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing Foundation.
The exams may be taken in any order. Although there are no prerequisites for the exams, it is strongly recommended that candidates have at least one year of experience in the field of Cybersecurity. Candidates may be exempted from one (1) specific Itcerts certification in a stackable certification if they have earned an equivalent non-Itcerts industry certification. Only preapproved specific IT industry certifications are accepted. The non-Itcerts IT industry certification must have been earned in the last three years. |

After purchasing an exam voucher, how much time do I have to take the exam?
After purchasing an exam voucher, candidates will have 180 days to take the exam.

Does the exam voucher include a retake?
The exam voucher includes 2 retakes in case the candidate fails the first attempt.

Are there any prerequisites to take the exams?
There are no prerequisites to take the exams. ITCERTS recommends that candidates have at least six months of work experience in the area that the certification exam covers.

What is the exam retake policy?
If a candidate does not achieve a passing score on the first attempt, there is no waiting period between the first and the second attempt. If a candidate does not achieve a passing score on the second attempt, the candidate must wait at least 7 days before retaking the exam for a third time. A candidate may not take a given exam any more than three times per year (12 months).
